Four Spiritual Principles

Who is God ?

Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

  • God is the creator of all things seen and unseen

  • God is triune: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

  • God created us and knows us each individually

  • God has a perfect plan for all those who trust in Him

  • God gave us all free will to accept or reject Him

Who am I ?

Romans 3:23 “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

  • God calls us to love Him with all our hearts and love our neighbors as ourselves.

  • We choose to reject God and sin against Him and others

  • As a result, we become relationally separated from God

  • Greed, disrespect, idolatry, untruthfulness, adultery, stealing, gossip, coveting, selfishness, bigotry, lust, pride

  • These things grieve our creator God

Who is Jesus ?

John 3:16 “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”

  • Jesus Christ is God’s only provision for our sin, He is the only path to restore our relationship with the Father

  • Jesus took our place and paid the punishment for all those who put their faith and trust in Him

  • Jesus was raised from the dead so that we may live eternally with God in heaven

  • Through Christ, you can know God personally and experience God’s love and plan for your life

What should I do ?

Acts 3:19 “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out.”

1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

Pray to confess your sins and accept Jesus into your life and into your heart as your Lord and Savior:

Heavenly Father, I thank you that you are real, that you love me endlessly, and that you can hear my prayer right now. Lord Jesus Christ, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and have chosen to go my own way against your will. I confess that I have sinned in thought, word, and deed. I want to tell you that I am sorry for my sins, and I pray for your help as I turn from my sins in repentance. Father, I believe that Jesus is your Son and the Savior of the world. Lord Jesus, I believe that you died for me, bearing my sins in your body on the cross. I believe that you died and rose again because you love me despite my sins. Father, I knock on your door. Come into my life, Lord Jesus. Come in as my Savior, cleanse me, and teach me. Come in as my Lord and take control of me. Give me the strength to serve you for the rest of my life. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”
